Started second set
I sowed an entire flat of Alyssum Royal Carpet (aliso alfombra real) in Jiffy Seed starting mix. Unfortunately could not find the lid to the flat. Should I cover with tented plastic wrap, or just leave it alone?
Also started some Lupine Russell Hybrids Mix (Lupino mezcla hibrida russell) in a 2-liter soda bottle, also in the Jiffy Seed mix.
Waiting on seeds from my mom:
asclepsias cinderella (butterfly weed)
gaillardia Arizona Sun (Blanket Flower)
Ascepias Gay Butterfliers (butterfly weed)
Achillea Summer Berries (Yarrow)
And also a bunch we just ordered from Jungs:
01035a Espada Green Pod Bush Bean Packet 1 $2.10
01045a Jade Green Pod Bush Bean Packet 1 $2.25
02018a Eureka Hybrid Cucumber Packet 1 $1.85
02252a Dukat Dill Packet 1 $1.45
02908a Eclipse Garden Pea Packet 1 $1.85
02910a Green Arrow Pea Packet 1 $1.45
04051a Trillion Hybrid Watermelon Packet 1 $3.95
04071a Moon And Stars Watermelon Packet 1 $1.95
04610 Kennebec Potato Sets 1 $6.95
08087A Magellan Mix Hybrid Zinnia Packet 1 $2.75
08171a Swirls Zinnias Packet 1 $1.65
08704a Double Mix Dianthus Packet 1 $0.95
51274a Natures Aid Inoculant Garden Size 1 $4.45
53290 Bonus Buy Pen 1 $2.95
BB53349 Bonus Buy Plant Markers 2 $2.70
Probably will do some of these indoors and wintersow some, especially the zinnias and dianthus??
Hmmm, where on earth am I going to plant all of these?
And what can I put on the west side of the house, where it is pretty damp and shady?

Started first set of seeds
Started two trays of seeds, plus some containers with potting mix. One tray and the containers contain Miracle Grow Organic Potting Mix. The other tray (72 cells) uses individual peat pellets.
The soil tray and two margarine containers are on top of the fridge, as those seeds prefer heated soil. However, our refrigerator seems to be too efficient to give off much heat--can't feel any warmth on top even when it is running. In this flat, planted tomatoes (Big Boy, Super Boy, Rutgers, and Heirloom Rainbow mix); Celosia "China Town," Bunny Tails ornamental grass, Heliotrope "Mini Marine," Nigelia "African Bride" and Nemesia "Masquerade." The two individual containers contain Amaranthus "dreadlocks" and we also have 1-1/2 inch pots in a mini greenhouse container with Foxglove "digitalis." This small greenhouse was dropped, and we just scooped the soil and seeds back inside in the hopes something would still germinate.
The peat pellet tray and a foil 9 x 9 with MG soil are on the front porch in the window, as those seeds prefer light to germinate. Peat tray contains: Rudbekia "Green Wizard," Amaranthus "Dreadlocks," Foxglove, Celosia "China Town" Nigelia "African Bride" Heliotrope "Mini Marine" Poppies "Himalayan Blue," Easter Egg Plant, Peek-a-Boo Eye ball plant, and Bunny Tails Ornamental grass.
The 9 x 9 foil tray contains snapdragon "Candy Corn" seeds, but we dropped the packet and spilled most of the seeds into the carpet. Only the ones we could recover made it into the flat, so may have little to germinate.
Also put two margarine tubs with MG soil and blue poppy seeds outdoors, to try wintersowing.
