Planted some turnip and flamingo chard in the center planter. Also transplanted basils to east planter and back-planted some morning glory seeds since the cats like to use the mint patch as a potty spot.

Seedlings, Prunings, Plantings...
Last week pruned the fire bushes and little shrubs around yard. Strawberries flowering immensely and German Iris's about to open. Lavendar, 2 of 3 coral bells, and lupine did not come back this year. Most likely coral bells and lupine did not return d/t the cats using the spot as their toilet. Lavendar seems to have been drowned out of the sun buy the bulbs planted in the same area. Also attempted to spiral topiary tree. It's ok ;)
Catnip, chives, ornamental peas, oregano, and sage all came back (and maybe a dill too) Thyme and Rosemary did not. Thyme probably blocked from sun as well. This year planted, thyme, rosemary, and some various basil in a pot that can be in the sun more. Basil was started indoors at the end of march.
Planted catmint outside in the mint patch. Also put up trellis and put in some morning glory seeds. Planted the strawberry planter with "moss roses" and some experimental chicks pulled from the hens/chicks patch.
Planted new ice plant and sedum under fountain and placed more rocks. Probly need one more sedum and one more hens/chicks.
3 Kale planted in east planter a couple weeks ago, planted another 2 yesterday. Lookin' good! Already had to trim catnip, plants looking kinda sad - need to control powdery mildew. Also powdery mildew noted on the lupine that did come up. :(
