Moved and planted
Moved to new daylily row..they aren't growing very well these were tiny single fans from wanda's co-op 2 years old and only 3 have bloomed so far:
Aabachee
Jean
Magic Dawn
Divertissment
Luxury Lace
Yazoo Wild Violet
Wind Frills
Daytime World
Will list potted fans I planted after I'm done with the new row...:-)
1 tsp Epsom salt
1 oz Sorgum Molasses
1 Tbls Baking Soda
1 Gal. Water
Before planting newly aquired or divided Daylilies wash roots and submerge entire plant in this simple bare root recovery booster. Use the mixture to water plant when planting, poured over the crown. Daylilies can be given this booster again when bloom scapes appear, to intensify bloom and foliage color.
Molasses is a natural Bio-stimulant containing sulfur, potash and many trace minerals needed by plants. These minerals will be obsorbed through the foliage when used as a foliar dip or spray. Baking Soda will help control fungal disease.

Breeding and Notes to myself.
Spiders today.I ordered tags so I could start marking who I bred to who.It was getting to confusing to try to keep it in my head and on paper.lol.
I moved pots off driveway to spray with round-up.I don't like chemicals but I don't know of any other way to kill them.
Still no rain,it's been at least 4 weeks, maybe more since we have had any rain.Local corn/bean crops are failing. Our alfalfa wasn't near as good as 2nd cut last year.Over 1500 bales last year, only about 1000 this year,it's hurting Mom's pocket book.
I potted up daylilies sent by Sue.Also potting up Lilies I bought from e-bay,nice bulbs but sent very late in the year.I hope I don't loose any because I have to grow them in pots.I will have to plant them in soil this fall.
FROM E-Bay:
Seller:laurelcove-Very small fans, don't know if I'll see a bloom this year. But they were very cheap prices.
