Rhodies & Hollies
Holly Tone seems to be the recommended fertilizer for both. Actually good for all ACID loving plants.
In very late Fall before ground freezes (Pocono Mtns. Oct/Nov) pull back mulch and scratch into ground out a bit past the dripline, water and then recover with the mulch. Use 1/2 regular feeding in the Fall.
In the Spring (before flowers form) Use FULL feeding.

This is just general info I found browsing the internet.
regarding NPK numbers: amounts of NITROGEN - PHOSPHORUS - POTASSIUM (POTASH) on bags of granular or liquid fertilizers.
10-10-10 - good all pupose granular fertilizer
*10-15-10 - good for flowering plants
For BLOOMs & VEGGIES use fertilizer with MIDDLE number (PHOSPHORUS) being the HIGHEST.
For plants IN GROUND use full strength liquid (water soluable) once a month.
For POTS - initally plant with all purpose granular fertilizer then use Liquid every 2 weeks full dose.
When fertilizing leafy vegetables like lettuce - let first number (Nitrogen) be your guide. You want a high number for nitrogen.
For FRUITS OR FLOWERS (tomatoes) opt for higher middle number (PHOSPHOROUS)
The third number (K) - POTASSIUM - refers to plant's general health, insect & disease resistance.
