And so it begins...
I've been a bit slow about surfing the site, thus I've
failed to notice the blogging section. Either that or I
once created a blog and deleted it. Who knows.
It's a good thing pictures are not required for an initial
post, as I would be thoroughly embarrassed. Though we
typically keep what we can trim and tidy around here, this
year we really let it go. Actually, more like 'fell behind and
let it' applies. The cold, the rain, the heat, then the high-wheel
Never again will I go through a season without a high-wheel
trimmer. Basically, it is a weed eater on wheels and I LOVE
using it. In fact, I went through a sad state when it died. It
is such a pleasure using it, then standing back in awe at the
amount of land one can cover in just one day, casually pushing
it back and forth.
My first trimmer was run into the ground, literally. Though we
have ten acres, I doubt we'll ever be able to tend to it all, but
one summer I tried. What a sight, standing at the house able
to view all the way to the woods; where deer often play.
Start a little savings jar, my dear, I WILL have one by spring!
