Turmeric (Kunyit, Kunir in Indonesian)
The leaf is good for making curry. Rendang without this will taste so plain.
Definitely needs for over winter.

Peach
I did not know if this was peach tree. When I bought it, it has lots of nice flower blooming all over their branches. I said to myself, why not put this small tree at deck. But fortunately after their bloom gone, its bear their fruit although hubby said it needs special help by certain bee to pollinate. Let see and wait if those fruit can grow bigger. It's about pimpong ball size now.

My unique pot
This pot originally was a fruit tray, made from root of teak.
Since it as a little to big to put on the kitchen counter, so I changed its function as pot. I added left over leather sheet on its perimeter and drill some holes as drainage.
Look not too bad though.

Lantanta
Tropical shrubs, but I over wintered them. So this was last year plant, bu the bloom is recent.
When I was kid this lantana was not treated as flower but as a wild bush. Oh, that's in Indonesia, do not know in US then.
