BloomsPerennials in bloom, shastas, gerbera and late, very late columbine. That surprised me.
Also, the new rose is blooming but not as purple as I expected.
The annual salvia, lisanthras (sp) and lantana are really pretty right now, even if it is 100+ degrees.
I have three buds on my new Texas Star Hibiscus. I'm excited about seeing what it looks like.

CaladiumsBought mixed caladiums from Bill in Florida last week. Two are already coming up. He has such a nice selection. I was showing Keith his website and he is really interested in getting more. So another new flower bed somewhere.

No CaladiumsStill no caladiums. Every one of the elephant ears came back though.
I am thinking seriously about getting in touch with Caladiums4Less and getting an order put in. I need those caladiums in this bed.

Lost HibiscusThe new Candy Cane Hibiscus bit the dust. I guess they were just too beat up in transit. Thankfully, I did get promised a refund, though I have not seen it yet.
The shastas are looking good and so is the new Ebb Tide rose.
Still no caladiums up. I'm going to be hurting if those don't make it. But the elephant ears are just now showing so maybe there is still hope.
