Sunday, April 13, 2008
Bird sightings this weekend2 scissor-tailed flycatchers Sat. on Bay Area, 1 on Sun.
Very large hawk of some kind in Pasadena.
2 white birds - looked like egrets, flying overhead on Bay Area, black wing tips
Lots of Mockingbirds, Blue Jays and Cardinals.
Most birds have declined at the feeders - they are preoccupied with nesting and mating I guess.
All the doves and finches still here. House finches mating everywhere.
Not as many grackles this week.
RWBB on Fairmont in the reeds. One in LP on feeder also.
Not seeing YRW or CW anymore.
