From beginnings as the study of indigenous farming techniques in the early 1900s, organic gardening has expanded into what some would call a mild rebellion against the use of artificial fertilizers, pesticides, and bio-engineering. It's not just a way of growing fruit and vegetables; for many people, organics have become a life-style with the goal of achieving a healthier, more self-sustainable way of life.

Organic gardening today is practiced in large scale farming as well as in the back yard vegetable gardens and orchards. Here in our forum, we have members who have grown up with the organic movement and provide helpful tips and advice on making your organic garden a success. We look forward hearing your questions and helping to make your organic gardening experience successful and satisfying.
