all those 2x6s will be great practice wood and sood for doing some projects as well. I've never met a woodworker that said he/she's got too much wood laying around...lol.
I need to build a bench soon, as my table saw seems to be the current 'catch-all' horizontal surface in the shop for stuff when there's not enough time to put things away...lol.
