I found well more than a dozen different glass votive
cups, the kind with the little stump on the bottom designed
to fit into those metal or iron candle holders from Home
Interior years ago. Using a paddle bit, I drilled a hole in the
wooden porch railing, and inserted the candle cup with the
stump into the hole. Add a tea light candle and wa-la...
porch lights!
They were put on the bottom rail because I often sit on or
lean on the top rail while hubby is on the swing on the opposite
side of the porch.
Ten cents each, can't beat that! I just so happened to find
an equal share of red, yellow and green votive cups in varied
patterns. Quite cute, and even nicer looking as it gets dark.
