Soferdig, after free-ranging the Aracaunas will most likely only be looking for a soft place to land (so to speak), a drink, and maybe a little maze or regular chiken feed to snack on. I have found it best to leave a light on for them, they come right back to it, ready for their feed and fresh water. LOL @ your green eggs & ham. Guess you will have to settle for blue eggs and bacon? lol :) Let me know how things work out for you!

Tracey, for your 1-2 week old chicks - I would leave them on the starter food (should be somewhere around 24% protein) until they are about 8-10 weeks, then at that point you can switch them over to the grower ration (18%-20% protein). I would love to see pics of your babies..........I enjoy seeing everyones babies so much.
I couldn't leave out one of my other babies...........here is "CoCo", my bottle baby lamb. She thinks she is a dog, and she thinks I'm her mama. She is a sweetie!
