The panels are archival masonite, with a good coating of gesso on them. Not only do I like the texture better, but they are much easier to frame. Not all ready made frames really fit canvas that well.

Thanks Janet. There is something very inspiring about them. It's amazing to see some of the oldest structures in the country still standing strong.
