Seen in northern Scotland, the was used as a ground cover at Ben More and grew from 6-12 inches high. Even though it looks spiney, it had more of a feathery feel almost like fine grass. The leaf blades were arranged into a star pattern if looked at from directly above. The blades completely covered the stem and at the top was what looked like a webbed flower.

Any help would be much appreciated!
