Dear Paul, thank you for writing back, most considerate of you indeed.
We get a very wide range of temperatures and indeed humidity here, but I have always loved tree fens as we were taught how to grow them by spores, when I was an apprentice.
So I now have four, that grow outside in the cold, which some people say is impossible.
The secret in the summer is to water inside the crowns three times a day, without getting water all over the fronds. this may sound a pain but it works.
As for the photos, and indeed the next one they are mine and I give you full permission to use them or if you wish for the originals, if you so want them, please tell we where I have to send them.
Regards.
Neil.
