Kindlekat wrote: I planted out these bareroot canes this spring in very large containers, these are 15 gallons. They have drainage holes in the bottom, and I used a 50/50 mix of Miracle Grow potting mix (the kind without moisture control) and a locally made compost called Leafgro. Now, 2 or 3 out of the 6 canes have browning leaves and the smallest of the canes have given up and died. I used Agrigel on the roots when planting to aid with moisture, and I've been deeply watering at least 3 times a week. I have not fertilized at all, and these are a Polana variety. What could be causing the browning and drying/curling of these leaves?
