Sadly we lost our little girl dog on Saturday. Molly (shih tzu X foxie) was only about 9 or 10 months old but had sure wormed her way into our hearts. We'd always struggled to put weight on her, but it didn't seem to be an issue for the vet when we asked. Anyway, she hadn't really eaten for over a week so we took her to the vet on Saturday, and it turned out her liver and kidneys were not functioning. Poor little button, little wonder she'd always been so skinny.
In nearly 20 years I've never seen my hubby cry before last week when he was so worried about her. She always loved the water and the sunshine, so we laid her to rest in the sunniest part of the garden. She'll be sadly missed.
