jenzuk wrote: I sowed these lobelia seeds in late may and now they 2months old and 3" tall. Im in NWuk. I also sowed some other types inc dahlia, aster, poppies, and they are all the same height except for nasturtiums which are now about 3 foot tall. As we are now well into summer, how much more will these lobelia grow? I think i sowed too late. Will they flower this year or could i overwinter them so they will flower next spring? This is my first time sowing seeds and i dont know what i should do now. I have a container garden. Are these annuals as some say they are and some say perennials. If they are perennials they will be good next year i suppose but what about annuals- will they survive til next spring if i make sure i dont let it flower by picking heads off? Any advice will be good. Thanks
