Jean - wow....that's quite a long time to have patience and acceptance. Amazing how often thyroid issues are overlooked, Teresa. It is good to know that so many have dealt with it all so well. I am so excited just to know what the problem is! Too many doctors miss the diagnosis and people like my Mom have had to go through horrible things as a result. 20 years ago my Mom had the same condition I have, and she had a crisis that required brain shock treatments to recover. She was never really the same after. I am one of the lucky ones, in my opinion.
Dianne - what an interesting story about the tunnel road. I know just what you mean about expecting to see any and everything around the next bend in the road. I have come around the curve to find an enormous moose in the road, as well as a large black bear sitting in a fern bed. Another time on Halloween, with a dense fog at night, we came upon another moose dallying along in the road, and we followed him very slowly for miles to get to our farm. He would turn around and look at us and then continue on in the middle of the road taking his own good time at the very same spot in my painting.
Jean, I love that bright canna! So, you really do grow them in a kiddy pool?
Karen - these shots are for you......feel better soon!
