    Good morning everyone.
We are getting the autumn weather we should have had weeks ago. Really cold mornings with fog & frost , then lovely sunny days.
No frost on the hill again , thank goodness.
Yesterday was so nice, I was out without my jumper again.
I spent some time sitting out in the sun with an old tin rubbish bin , burning a bag of personal papers that had mounted up over time.
I dont like to put them in the rubbish bin so we bought a small shredder last year. It is just the thing and easy to use, but we had such a collection , it was just easier to burn while I could . Now all I have to do is shred as things come in.

The garden is looking much greener now. I found some bulbs coming up that look like daffodils and have buds . They may be jonquils, but still very early.
My salvias are looking very nice as they flower. They seem to like the cooler weather . I did lose a few during the summer but will plant more later. I am also using them around the base of the brugs. .
I have one job to do that I have been putting off. The old Geraldton Wax plants need to come out. I will just lop all the branches then cut off the rest at the base.
They dont regrow so I will be able to put the Lilly Pillys in their place. More protection for the salvias as the Geraldton Wax are very sparse.

Hello Teresa. Sounds like you have a handful with Sugar.
Have you tried using a metal bucket attached to a stake or a wall ?
I had to do that once with dogs that kept knocking the water bucket over.
I can imagine the fun she had with the bucket..lol

Marlene, very pretty epi. You will soon get some lovely new plants to replace your lost ones. Just think of the pleasure you will have choosing which at the nurseries.

Hello Charleen. I saw Charley mule running about down the back of the Tea Room. He thinks I dont see him looking for cookies.
Your garden will be looking lovely with the brugs.

Hello Dianne. I think some of those little seedlings are from the Scabiosa.
The original ones are still putting out a few flowers and dont look like dying off as yet..

Sue, you will have plenty to keep you busy during the winter by the sound of things.
We may all have to come for a visit to sample all your wares..
We do have the Magic Carpet here to fly around in. I must get it out and shake the dust off.
A nice trip to somewhere warm would be lovely as the cold sneaks in on us all.

Hello Chrissy, Anthony, Louise, Moon and Karen.
Hope all is well with you .

I am going to get a fresh cuppa. I need to warm my fingers.

Heres todays morning tea treat. ....Ginger Snaps
    Enjoy the weekend.
    Happy gardening
    Jean.
