The Redwood trees there are massive and there is a large boardwalk to accomodate a nice walk through the grove. We decided to take one of the more challenging trail offshoots from the main boardwalk and that turned out to be a steep but enjoyable loop. What a jewel of a park. We did take a harder route that was steep and took us up a difficult grade but those who like hiking know that it is always worth it. There is a gift shop and small deli at the entrance of the park. Parking can get a little tight on nice days so come early. Hope you have enjoyed our post from Poor Man Camping. We love the outdoors and love to hear stories others are willing to share.
