Karen, got to thinking today while I was sewing those butterfly dresdens.... If you cut long wedges, like Betty did, out of a light seasonal background, maybe with some glitzy metallics, the plates that you have rec'd could be separated into halves and sewn onto the ends like scallops around a tablecloth....
