Please help me identify this tree. This tree was in our front yard when we bought it. It has "leaves/needles that are wider than pine needles. The previous owner thinks it may be from Australia. Definitely not an "Australian pine" as seen in Florida. It is evergreen. Has multiple trunks. Self pollinating (seedling come up rarely) No other one around. Thrives in zone 6. It doesn't drop individual needles. It drops small branchlets with cones( see picture). The dried needles are painfully pointed (thorn-like). Any ideas?
