My flat of seedlings was crushed when someone decided to dump other stuff on it. I read that seeding out is the best way to get a nice blue form - thin out the blue'est ones.
This tree - I had to get permission, then on the ladder, watch for pedestrians as branches just fall and try and not make a mess.
