I've done seed germination, which went ok'ish. Collecting is a different story. The leaves are prickley! Placing the cones in a plastic margarine container on the windowsill and allowing the seed to fall out of the cone worked well. My flat of seedlings was crushed when someone decided to dump other stuff on it. I read that seeding out is the best way to get a nice blue form - thin out the blue'est ones.

This tree - I had to get permission, then on the ladder, watch for pedestrians as branches just fall and try and not make a mess.
