My husband has had a bamboo bonsai for about a year now - it was doing exceptionally well until recently. He brought it home and it had several yellow leaves (which I trimmed) but there is definitely new growth on several of the stems which look remarkably healthy. I know that bamboo likes water and he says he keeps it fairly wet. Other than that, I am not sure what's causing this. He said that in his office it was near a cold window, and he thinks that might have caused it. Anyone have any suggestions? Oh - he also feeds it a diluted liquid fertilizer but I'm not sure how often...think once a month. Thanks!
