I am new to lantana ~ i bought several plants this year to fill in areas that were not doing well. My plants died in december with the frost, however, i brought a small plant into the house and it is doing GREAT! The plant bloomed and went from yellow to pink within a couple of weeks.

When planting this plant inside, i broke a piece and stuck it back into the dirt; hoping that it would take root. The plant itself died, however, there is new growth coming in from the bottom of the plant. I suggest that everyone use "JUNGLE GROWTH" to replant or to start a new plant.

Happy New Year!!!

Lantana is beautiful and hardier than you might think. I live in Northwest Florida so I get one or two freezes a year. My plants come back from the stalks with no problem, the only maintenance mine requires is keeping it from spreading too much

I bought my Lantana (camara)in a small tree form and it has produced many beautiful blooms since being planted 7 months ago. However, it now looks like it's kicking the bucket. The limbs are almost bare, and half the leaves that are still hanging in there are withered and dry. Living in Central Florida, we have had an abundance of rain lately. Could this be its problem? The other Lantana's I have are the vine type and seem to be prolific...can't figure out what's going on with this tree tho. Can anyone help with this dilemma?
