11:57 AM | Not sure how to ask this. When we had our house built 11 years ago, we did not finish the basement. Now due to finances, etc. , probably won't get this accomplished for awhile. The stairway that leads into the basement is unfinished wood - can't think what the name of that wood. My husband, a farmer, sometimes walks down those stairs (because they are not finished) with his boots. The stairs were designed for carpeting as there is a lip on the end of each stair. I am tired of looking at the dirty look they have because they are not finished. Can I paint them? Any other suggestions? |
