11:47 AM | IIRC, there are both different grades of porcelain used AND a difference in performance. A more expensive version might have a better 'drain' design to help prevent clogging. And may also have a better 'flush' design - to encourage everything that SHOULD go down with a single flush actually does. I'd ask the vendor for their recommendations. A cheaper toilet may work just as well as the available expensive options - but then it may not..)
(When building our house, we put a cheap toilet in the kid's bath & the more expensive version in the master bath. We figured with 2 boys - preschool-aged currently - that it is likely we'll have to replace that one eventually due to breakage, etc. Ours was 'safer', so we spent the money there. The more expensive one IS better at really emptying the bowl with one flush.) | anastatia

4:48 PM | Yes, that's (relatively) standard so that replacement parts will fit. But the actual design of the porcelain works is more what would be different. |
