April 8, 2008 10:43 AM | Thank you Resin and Pelletory, I thought some kind of Finch but it is the first time I have seen them here . Pelletory, great site, is the purple shading on the map where they are supposed to be?, as Florida is not shaded. |

April 8, 2008 11:05 AM | oh wow that is brilliant, I will keep watching them. They seem to particularly like going into the cypress trees by the door and on that corner of the roof where I took the photo of them.

April 10, 2008 8:12 PM | They thrive in my area of Western NY. They especially like nesting in wreaths on front doors, and hanging baskets! Babies hatch and leave very quickly - a couple weeks. |
