Daylily- for sure- like those crazy orange ones that grow all over in the ditches here in IA.

Yes, but these one have nice fat leaves and could be something very special, depending on how new they are. The new cultivars are incredibly beautifu I think! You can keep the orange and yellow species "flava" - yuk, lol!

Oops, I'm getting tired lol! I just noticed I left off the "l" at the end of "beautiful" too! Thanks Jasper. I realize a lot of people love Hemerocallis fulva, but personally I don't. Don't mean to insult anyone of course.

these are about two feet tall now. In the front we have some tall Iris. could these be the same... they look similar in structure.

Not to worry VMan...
I had never seen the fulva's until HD started selling them. I liked the triple flower on them, so I bought one.

They don't appear to be invasive for me here...but then again, I don't have huge acreage, either...and there aren't any "ditches" here for them to escape to !
