Finding a forum for this post is a tossup, but I think homesteaders are as keen-eyed as anyone when it comes to observing the cycles of nature. The National Phenology Network is studying the signals certain plants indicate in relation to other natural events. These studies will expand to include animal activities such as bird migrations. Whether you can volunteer or not, the research is fascinating.
