I have been working on the soil in the main part of my garden for about three years now. When we first moved to our home we were horrified by how poor our soil is--think cheap fill, tons of sand and not an earthworm in sight and you have the picture. Well, as I was saying we've really been working on improving the soil in the garden area and as I was getting some of my tomatoes into the ground yesterday I was thrilled to find earthworms for the first time. Unfortunately, I was also surprised by the number of grubs I also found. Do grubs cause problems for tomatoes? I did a search and couldn't find anything.
Any information appreciated. Thanks! :D
