Beautiful. I have my window boxes reseed every year with petunias that the hummers seem to like and overwinter the geraniums in my sun room. interestingly the petunias come in a myriad of colors different from what was planted there.

My favorite plant that reseeds is the verbena bonariensis (verbena on a stick). It is about 4-5 feet tall----on a skinny stem and has lots and lots of little purple blooms. I have had no success in trying to plant it where I want it----------so, I have to be happy where it is----often in the gravel pathway.

My coneflower frequently appears in the gravel walkway------but, never multiplies in the flower bed. Can anyone explain that?
