with all that rain and being overcast i enjoyed making a mini garden--went into my yard and pulled up some tiny plants to see how they will do--i am trying to only use what i have on hand since i can get carried away pretty quickly when i go out looking for things --i cannot post a picture at this time but hope to later--i loved looking at all of your postings to give me ideas
nice time to work on mini gardens!
we have been trying to use what we have to make things . its fun and looks better then mass produced things . have fun i hope to see pics soon!
that is so true--it just isn't as much fun to go to a store and buy everything all matched and perfect----my daughter is enjoying decorating her apartment and picks up stuff from different people, trash etc---so she will make it her own! i had some very old quilted curtains i bought at at garage sale years ago and never knew what i would do with them just knew i wanted them--well i gave them to her and she loves them--she is making a colage on a coffee table she picked up in the trash--such fun! i can't imagine her going to pottery barn and decorating like that--just isn't in her! (neither are the funds!)
have you looked at the trash to treasure forum ? i love it . im going to make a pergola out of our louvered doors we didnt want . the 4 doors will be the top .
Yes, the dismal weather reaches up to Mass., also! I've been painting new and re-painting old pieces to send outside soon!
A regular-sized flower pot that was too weather worn and needed a make-over. A mini birdhouse turning into a fairy or gnome house. Little wood mushrooms, and this mini (6") birdfeeder came this morning, so I'll get to that soon. Not sure what color(s) to use. Trying to decide if I should go plain, Victorian pastels, or Mary Engelbreit style crazy colors!
