I took some samples of plants to our university bioscience dept and they assured me that this wasn't a viral disease that it is most likely caused by herbicide. These are grown in a greenhouse and I have never used herbicide but my husband did some spot spraying for noxious weeds outside around our greenhouse last year. They said the stuff is so nasty that it can drift inside the greenhouse and get in the soil or may have drifted into our compost piles that were outside. I have about 120 plants and about 10 are doing this. Some of my starter plants are also doing this. It is very random. I was worried that it may be cucumber mosaic virus but they were pretty confident it wasn't and that testing would be unnecessary. Has anyone had a problem like this?
