I've been reading the blogs about cutting glass. Anybody got a quick way to make glass windchimes out of stain glass pieces? I saw them at a craft show for $50.00 and up. I have all the glass (from when my husband was doing stain glass windows) so all I need is the directions. Thanks to all you nifty crafters for your help.

Hi chasmarie
I have used scrap to make chimes some I put copper foil around and tinned others I put in the kiln and fire polished the edges (smoothed them )
If I was just going to use the glass I would at least hit it with the grinder.
so no one get cut ..
Drilling holes they for got to say its best to do it under water or you will burn up your diamond bit.
Heres a real scrapy set of chimes

cheryl those are just beautiful! thank you for the how to key site---
i have a bunch of keys -not really pretty keys but rather small ones --i think i would need to dress it up with beads or something to make it sparkle a little--and maybe hang other metal --silverware comes to mind but maybe if i walked the hardware store i would get some ideas too
