I noticed in the last few days that a dinnerplate dahlia i am growing in a container is beginning to wilt despite proper care. The soil is well drained miracle grow potting mix with extra perlite to aid drainage. Everything has looked just fine up until the past few days.
This is my first time growing dinnerplate dahlias and I'm not sure if its a virus or due to the heavy rains we've gotten in the past few days. Im really at a loss because it was doing so good up until now, what is going on? I hope someone can help with this as I am very confused at why this is happening all the sudden. The leaves are all looking green and healthy and Ive got a bud forming, yet it is wilting. I know sometimes during the hottest parts of the day, leaves will normally wilt but this is not the case as I walked outside this morning when it was about 68F and the leaves were wilting.
Thanks for your help
Thomas
