Hello everyone,

I am new to iris gardening and have a question. I have a group of bearded iris that is on it's third summer. I bought them at a nursery and planted them and left them. The next year, after they bloomed I did nothing. This year, after they bloomed and the flowers died, I cut off the stalk. Should I be doing something with the leaves? I'll try to post a picture of the bloomin' iris for reference.

Thank you for your help.

Just leave the leaves alone, they'll stay green all year.

The stick says it is 'Batik', and no two are alike. If I was braver, I would divide and share. :) maybe next year...
