Has anyone had experience growing tall dahlias (4-5 ft) in Earthboxes? I have an excess of cuttings from Corralitos Nursery, and no room in my sunny beds anymore. I would like to put two dahlias in each box, which I could then locate in the sun on my patio. And, does anyone know if the dahlias would appreciate the usual application of dolomitic lime that one puts into an Earthbox?
I've had experience with growing tall dahlias in containers, but have never used them in an Earthbox.
I'm crossposting this on the Self-Contained Garden Box Forum, as well, but I wanted to consult the Dahlia Experts on this forum.
Thank you!
