I live in zone 6b and over the past several years have had Four O'clocks, Elfin Impatiens and annual Violas reseed themselves in my garden. In fact, this year, instead of buying a tray of Impatiens at the nursery, stooping and kneeling and digging and suffering back pain planting all those little guys in the ground on the north side of the house, I'm scattering seeds and letting nature do the hard work.
