The dear Husband built a new raised bed to house some of the Plumerias and since this is new and really good soil I thought why not assign part of the bed for tomatoes. I live in Fort Worth TX and we are having a wet spring and I guess summer now. I originally placed the tomatoes in double cages (still there) the tomatoes are now close to 8 feet tall. We have added PVC pipe now they are totally past that. What could I do to support these plants? They are just nuts. The weight will be excessive as the fruit ripens. I've grown tomatoes for years but nothing like this.
For any of you movie nuts out there...the garden scene from the Godfather where Vito dies...thats how tall these guys are. LOL
