We have millions of this little beauty blloming every year in the mountains and alog roadsides and flower beds. It reseeds without fail. I recieved some from my sister in law 20 years ago and after 2 years tried to eradicate it but to this day(yesterday) I am pulling them up. Yes they have shallow roots and are ewasy thank goodness. Sometimes if it is in the right place I do let it bloom a bit as they are sweet.

LOL

Any "weed" growing in the right place is no longer a weed... it's a "volunteer!"
