Great! I planted mine 4/27 and they are just now about 18" tall. I'm hoping they don't drown in all the persistent, consistent rain we're having~

Well, I am pretty late to the party, but I got my seeds planted last night. I'm hopeful that the hot, sunny weather we have here will help produce some nice sunflowers.

Thank you for bringing it to my attention! I've convinced two of my neighbors to plant some sunflowers with the extra seed I purchased too. We'll see if they actually follow through and participate in the study, but I think I'll stay on their case to make sure they give it a shot.
