That is mind-bogglingly beautiful, Helene. It will look stunning on a table. I did some fine-thread crochet years ago, but I got sidetracked by the fine-art reproductions done in counted cross stitch - those things with 120 different colors - so I think all my patterns are gone walk-about, but if any surface as I re-organize the library, I'll be happy to pass them on.

    Just gorgeous!

Doss: I looked at the web site with oval patterns but they are all filet crochet which I am tired of.

Nice job helene. Sorry that the tablecloths weren't to your liking. It's funny how we can do a type of needle work for quite awhile and then we are just done with it.

That is just beautiful. My mother used to make beautiful doillies that I never appreciated until I tried making them. She made a gorgeous poinsetta table cloth that I would give anything to have now. But as a stupid kid I let my aunt take it when My Dear Mother passed away. I am still kicking myself.
I do a lot of crochet but I am afraid that I couldn't make that table cloth but I would sure like to give it a try. Have you ever seen a pointsetta table cloth. The one she made was out of a beautiful red thread. Would love to find a pattern for that one too.
I would really appreciate it if you could send it to me. The pattern of the one that you made. Well, acutally, you can send me the one you made too. Heheh.
    Thanks

Click on that and it will take you to the Daves Address Exchange amongst other listings. Click on Address exchange and it will take you to a listing many Daves Members. You can either find the address you are looking for or add your own to it. Very handy when you want to send a surprize gift to someone and don't want to ask for their address.

I have been searching for a oval crochet tablecloth. I have made 3 of the ones you have in this picture. Can it be made into an oval shape? I have done many of the pineapple designs and that was my favorite one. In fact it was the first one I ever made. Took me 6 weeks of constantly working on it when I was about 30 years younger. Still love to crochet but my wrists don't let me like they use to since I broke both of the 2 years ago. Won't give up. I want to make my daughter an oval tableclothe if it is the last thing I do. Please help if you know of any patterns or how do you alter this one? Would very much appricate you help. Thank You Pat
