I have two oriental persimmons, the fuyu has maybe20 percent of leaves that are curling upwards and are a bit discolored (more yellow). The other tree (don't remember what kind, but astringent) has just a few leaves thus affected. I noticed some red ants on the fuyu tree.
I read somewhere that persimmons can get a leaf spot (I don't really know what that is, except that I think it is a fungus), which, however, does not ruin the tree. We have had a lot of rain in our area lately.
Can anyone give me an opinion on what might be going on?
Thanks, C.
