| I have already lost 2 brass button ferns from waterlogging and most others in the beds are stunted. Too much water and not enough sun. I have large oak and hickory trees all around so no where in my yard is considered full sun. I would like a few days of sun shine with out 2 hours of down pours every afternoon. |

| Send some of that rain down here! We'd be more than happy to take it! There's rain north, west and east of us--we're in the hole here :-{ I'm going to have to turn on the soaker hoses today. |

| Yes, I'd like to know who's the mushroom farmer who ordered this weather???
It was the same June last year. I have a note in my files wondering if the wet June was the reason my impatiens barely grew an inch all summer. If so, I'm in for another disappointment. NOTHING is growing anyway, no sun. Piffle. |

| my plants actually look ok so far, I don't know how...but I went outside and there were a million baby slugs marching toward them! blech! I took drastic and unkind measures...I feel a little mean, but I think they were eyeing my harry lauder walking stick! |

| We have had enough rain in our part of Virginia for while too! More sunshine would be appreciated although today was an exception. Hay needed to be cut week's ago but...
Some of my plant's that are newbie's and are not planted in well drained location's have had to be dug up and potted for now but some other's are loving all the moisture and growing like crazy. As far as alot of mositure is concerned with plant's, it all depend's on the plant/location.
The weather has been very unusual here in our part of the world since late Fall 2008! I do not like the change either and hope it get's back to more normal...or what I am use to!

| Same here. Luckily we have good drainage, but where is the sun? Today is an exception, sunny and dry, but rain is in the forecast for next week, again. Bummer. |

| I'm with Crabgrass, wake me when its over, I can't imagine having a dry sunny day! (near Philly) I think the whole office would call out sick, we have a snow policy but we're going to need a sun policy. I'm disappointed because this is my 1st year in new house so its not easy getting the new garden going. Plants are waiting on the porch. Good thing is its easy to pull out the privet! |

| I think they'll be fine, too. I planted one in the ground about 4 weeks ago and it's done nothing but rain on them, sun for 5 minutes, rain, sun for 5 minutes...the ground never dries any. It's getting ready to bloom! I have another in a box next to a trellis and it's already bloomed. I have one more I would LIKE to plant but... |

| Most of my seedling transplants moved outdoors are doing poorly.
Not enough sun and too much rain water. Cherry tomato's particularly look pale
Some in containers I even moved to under an overhead balcony so they don't continue to get drenched.

| Well I am in the UK and we are having a "heat wave" - they forget about us up North - torrential rain, flooded gardens. The north doesn't count (places in the North regularly flood, it barely makes the local news, they get a puddle close to London and it's on national news) ARGH. |

| It's been at least two weeks since we've had any rain here and our heat index has gotten as high as 117 already. We could really use a good shower or two! |

| We're totally living under a gray sky here...I just read an article that said we "only" got about 4 inches of rain, as compared to last June's 8 inches...but we've had only a couple days of sun in a month. My roses are budding but the buds are dying before they bloom...I read about something called bud balling? Maybe I should go out there with my hair dryer?? The rose leaves are yellow too...
maybe we should just change summer here in the East to July to Oct, we'll call June April! |

Hmph. It's July 3, and the way the forecast looks, we could change it to AUGUST to October for summer. [scowl] |

Crabgrass, the summers are so short now..., we could just leave it at Aug lol
