    		 I tried putting an Aspidistra in my garden in Kent (England) a couple of years ago and whilst it is quite a sheltered, fairly enclosed, almost courtyard like spot we did get down to -8 last winter and the Iron plant is still there along with some Dracena that I put out as well!
