I am in Miissouri and my pepper plants that I start from seed never get more than 12 - 18 inches tall and prduce few peppers. I start them indoors in march and plant in miid may in the ground. I do this every year and they just don't get very big. Get a few peppers but I would like to see the plants get bigger. Any advise on how to get my plants to grow better? Start earlier? Put in ground later? Thanks
