One succulent I might not kill. I think I water mine to death. Wouldn't be so presumptious to ask for a start but is this something I am likely to find locally? Sad to say, about the only place I see succulents is big box stores on a rolling cart that is obviously delivered by the same vendor. Rarely are they marked.
Another good article that makes me drool for a corner of succulents. Do pretty good with sedum.
LouC: Hi-- You can find succulents in most regular nurseries. I also went in Lowe's one day to get soil or something, & 'accidentally' saw tiny pots of succulents on a rack for $2, & so of course I had to buy 3 or 4, and one of them was really different, called 'Cobweb'; another one was called 'ChocolateSoldier', which is dull green with brown tips. Right now they are happy on my window-sill. Happy Hunting!
