Palmbob: Very informative article with nice photos--- I have some succulents, and keep an eye out for different types. I'm glad most are not fussy, leaving more time for plants that Are picky! Thanks for sharing with us. =)

My grandmother raised "Hens and Chicks" (Sempervivum tectorum) for many years and we enjoyed watching them grow and grow...It was amazing how just a tiny little off shoot would take off and seemingly take root overnight. She had several varieties and they are similar to some of your pics. Nice to remember "way back then."
